North Fulton Regional Hospital has board certified lactation consultants who provide assistance to mothers who choose to breastfeed their infants. If you are not sure if breastfeeding is right for you, read about some of the benefits of breastfeeding your baby. This might help you make a well-informed decision.

Prenatal Consultations
Free consultations are available for women who have concerns such as previous problems with breastfeeding or a history of breast surgery.

Breastfeeding Counseling
For situations in which telephone consultation is not enough, office visits with lactation consultants are available by appointment.

Breast Pump Rental
Breast pumps are available for rental through the lactation department. Call for more information and to schedule an appointment to obtain your breast pump.
