   Breastfeeding Class

North Fulton Regional Hospital offers a prenatal breastfeeding class each month. Registered nurses who are board certified lactation consultants teach the class which is designed to provide expectant parents with information about breastfeeding.

Topics include:

  • Benefits of breastfeeding
  • How breast milk is made
  • How to breastfeed
  • What to expect from the baby
  • Avoiding/overcoming problems
  • Pumping, going back to work
  • Question and answer session
