North Fulton Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome new Director of Business Development Ronald R. Henry to the Administrative Team.

     Henry comes to North Fulton Regional Hospital following his work as Account Principal of the United States Southeast Region for GetWellNetwork, Inc., a consulting firm that provides interactive patient care solutions serving hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the U.S. While in this role, Henry successfully restructured account management teams to more appropriately meet client needs and developed marketing and awareness campaigns to further drive the utilization of the company resources across the various user groups.

     Prior to his work as a healthcare consultant, Henry served in various roles at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, including Director of Marketing and Business Development, Administrative Director of Operations/Business Development, and Integrated Physician Services. While an employee at Alexandria Hospital, Henry directed regional planning, marketing and business development activities for Cancer Services and Sports Medicine for the five-hospital Inova Health System; evaluated physician partnership opportunities that met organizational and community healthcare needs; and developed a physician issue identification and response strategy targeted at improving physician satisfaction and increasing communication.

     Henry attended Pennsylvania State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education. He proceeded to be the Head Athletic Trainer at the university following graduation before he moved on to be the Program Director of Sports Medicine at Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Discovering an interest in health care management, Henry returned to Pennsylvania State University where he received his Master of Management Degree in Health Care Administration.

     North Fulton Regional Hospital (NFRH), part of Tenet Georgia, is currently in the midst of an expansion that will take the facility from 167 to 202 beds by early 2008. The acute-care hospital is located on Highway 9, Alpharetta Highway, in Roswell.
