NFRH Joins 2006 Heart Walk

More than 200 employees and their families turned out for this year's walk.

North Fulton Regional Hospital joined its sister hospitals, Atlanta Medical Center and South Fulton Medical Center, at the 2006 Atlanta Heart Walk.

More than 200 employees plus their families registered for the walk.


	Walkers who survived cardiovascular disase received special red ballcaps at the Red Cap tent.

Tenet's Atlanta Market and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation served as Platinum Red Cap Sponsors. The Red Cap designation is given to walk participants who have survived cardiovascular disease. These individuals are given special red ballcaps to wear during the walk.

The 2006 Atlanta Heart Walk was held at Piedmont Park. According to the American Heart Association, the walk is expected to raise $1.9 million for the American Heart Association.
