NFRH - Your Certified Primary Stroke Center



Once you’ve realized that you are having a stroke, you need to know that there is a place to go where you can receive quality care from individuals with advanced stroke training. Managed by Stroke Coordinator Pat Victor, NFRH’s Stroke Center is comprised of a multidisciplinary team that includes:

  • Neurologists with expertise in stroke
  • Neurosurgeons
  • Neuroscience critical care, acute care and rehabilitation nurses
  • 24-hr radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services
  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech language pathology
  • Case managers

The center also has more than 100 nurses and therapists trained in Advanced Stroke Life Support.

With a stroke, every second is critical. Knowing the signs and symptoms and where you can turn can have a significant impact on your health and well-being. North Fulton Regional Hospital is proud to play a key role in this process.
